NEWS!
This is the remix...
Soleboy has remixed James++ track Leaky Ramp for the latest Ninja Trax compilation. The online compilation is remixes of previous Ninja Trax tunes and can be found at the link below some time in Feb 2008.
A little bit of Expo sure.
Bardsley Island's track Deep and Free has featured (if not briefly) on the soundtrack to the Expo 2007 Festival 2007. The festival, which takes place around the country each year, is a free and fun annual event. In the words of the festiva;; "Is the hub and playground of the experimental music and sound art scene in the UK and beyond." So if you stumble across a copy which was filmed by our friends at Sketco.org watch out for the deepness.
This Is...
Soleboy has contributed the first ten minute's mix to the latest compilation by Gascomm and compiled by Bobby Corridor (the guy who did the cutting and scratching for the much under-rated Earthling).
The basic idea of this compilation is that each dj takes a label of their choice and then mixes in some of its seminal moments. Soleboy chose one of the greatest hip hop labels of the 1980s in Wild Pitch Records. The tracks used can found below the overall mix and link. Go fetch, it's a fine mix if we don't mind saying so.

Night Night
Black House have finished the Space Night long player and tracks can be taken from the Free Music page. Inspired by late evenings watching Space Night on German satellite television in the late 1990s.
Space Night was a late night excursion into alien art and imagery, pictures from satellites and
complemented by a soundtrack of electronica mainly coming from Berlin and other parts of Germany.
Music created by the likes of Atom Heart, Pete Namlook, Harthouse, Sven Vath, Olivier Lieb, Tangerine Dream, Space Teddy, Labworks and the seminal Basic Channel label are just a few names that helped shape this long player.

I'll Blackhouse You!

December's 2006's issue of Computer Music features Blackhouse's Scare Radius track to feature on its cover DVD. The review says; "To say that this is soundtrack music is stating the obvious". They go on to say; "That it's all executed very well and the tension created from the low strings and other dark noises puts you in the very place Blackhouse wants you to be." Cheers!
Space is tha Place
